The opening to this isn't very big and their isn't too much space inside, but that hasn't stopped just about every cat from sleeping in it.
Chrissy on top and Gracie inside

The top of our cupboards is easy to get to and safe from other cats when you just want a peaceful nap.

Cricket

Jewel- She really fits in well now after taking a long time getting used to so many cats.

Another comfortable spot Tornado found

More proof that plastic bags are great
Sasha

I think we put Gracie up there on our huge movie collection tower.

Small spaces in weird places are no match for a determined mind.

Tornado

Rudy
The cable box was always on so it could download all the latest info for TV listings. This made it a highly coveted place to sleep during the winter months when we wouldn't turn on our heater (before we had kids).

Kit

An apparently comfortable place to be

Kit

The back of the couch always has a cat sleeping there. When we clean the house, we always have to vacuum that part of the couch.

Pip (Cricket in the background)

Plastic bags are another one of those I-never-thought-this-would-be-a-fun-toy toys.

Cricket

Pip when she was a bit skinnier- still adapting to life with lots of cats instead of just her and her sister Squeak.
Drinking water sitting in a dirty bowl is much more thirst-quenching than clean water from a water dish.

Chunk

We were going camping and Cricket found a "box." Either that or she wanted to go with us.

Gracie all curled up

I don't remember how Tornado got so high up on this 6 foot bookshelf.

Kit

Sleepy Heads

Even if it doesn't look comfortable, it's one of the pleasures of being a cat- the ability to sleep anywhere.

Gracie

Chunk
Kit and Tornado. I can tell this was a long time ago because there are only 2 food dishes instead of 4.

All of the cats love to get inside of boxes, and size doesn't matter. This box just happens to be big enough to fit into. Gracie is checking out who's inside.

It's Cricket!

The bottom of the stairs is a favorite place to sleep and lay down in wait for pouncing on others. Here's our ginormous (15 lb) Chunk.

We finished off a case of water and didn't throw it away fast enough. No worries- it was an instant hit with the cats.
